Dear all,

When i doing the following task then


[oracle@linuxdba ~]$ DISPLAY=192.168.1.200:0.4
[oracle@linuxdba ~]$ export DISPLAY
[oracle@linuxdba ~]$ echo $DISPLAY
192.168.1.200:0.4
[oracle@linuxdba ~]$ xhost +
xhost: unable to open display "192.168.1.200:0.4"

What is the problem. Pls help me.

So display 0.4 does not exist. Are you sure that the 4 is valid? Try 0.0 instead.

Are you installing directly on server
or
from another machine, via ssh?

When i execute the env | sort from any user then it return same result;

So currently DISPLAY is not set.

can NOT install Oracle as OS user root.
