Hi,
i woulk like to know about Synchronous Multimaster replication.
I have 2 sites in my synchrounous replication group.
Both sites are placed in different locations and performs transaction. If any transaction performs in any site, data has to availbale in both sites.
i have connected my 2 master sites thru dedicated Line. My problem is if any site goes down due to network failure,or database crash, other site also not ready to do any transaction untill we remove the bad site from replication group. I think, thi si sway other esite to make redy for users in short time. but other site users cannot use that DB till we solve the DB issue.in other case if replication group suffers from Network issue, we can remove replication group and make independent sitem, now users can access their own db in short time.
Now i have few questions:
Is there any easiest way to merge data of both sites withouit any conflict?
if it so please gimme steps.
or is ther any way to solve this issue instead of this way?
please help m ein this issue.
best regards,
Nagaraj.K

For Synchronous requires stable network connection which is must. Without stable connection synchronous replication not possible.
Other option is Asynchronous. In asynchronous replication data is replicated after certain interval or whenever network is available.
