Hi, i'm using oracle9i server installed on red hat 7.2, with the kernel version 2.4.7.
I got the kernel 2.5.25, installed, and the oracle doesn't starts with the new kernel:
SQL*Plus: Release 9.0.1.0.0 - Production on Tue Jul 30 13:04:17 2002
(c) Copyright 2001 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
SQL> ERROR:
ORA-24314: service handle not initialized
SQL> ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
SQL>
Database "SIDORCL" warm started.

and the server don't start!
Is there something I have to do when changing the kernel?

Marcelo
