Error while installing oracle 9i on suse 9.2 [message #111579]

I ma trying to install oracle 9i on suse 9.2. Right after I execute ./runInstaller, I receive the following error message:

Unable to load native library: /tmp/OraInstall2005-03-17_09-36-31AM/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Any ideas?
