Each one of listener.ora files generated by runInstaller
might be modified just to place following lines in new
order:-
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=ServerCentOS41)(PORT=1521)))
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=ipc)(KEY=EXTPROC1)))

What will cause:-
Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=ServerCentOS41)(PORT=1521)))
when listener starts.
Looks like "emctl stop dbconsole" starts work gracefully after
that.
Regarding improved performance due to ASM [message #136653 is a reply to message #135237] Fri, 09 September 2005 06:25 Go to previous message
